Sponsored by the Springville Community Club, the Apple Festival is held annually, the third weekend in October, and
attracts more than 30,000 visitors each year. The Apple Festival is a non-profit, self sustaining, family oriented
festival that is: Safe, friendly, entertaining and appealing to all age groups, and is committed to being a drug and
alcohol free festival.
The Festival consists of over 200 booths. Craft booths are juried to ensure quality merchandise,
selling handcrafted, hand-embellished arts and crafts items. Food booths offer a large variety of choices.
Entertainment consists of; Music, clowns, kid's
games and carnival-type rides.
The Festival has activities for all age groups; The Apple Run 5K, 10K, and Kid's runs, plus the 2-mile walk on Saturday
morning, and the Annual Fat Tire Classic Mountain Bike Race on Sunday morning. The Fat Tire Classic is a challenging and
scenic 7-mile mountain ride for adults, with a well-supervised and easier course for children.
